Can you believe it?
It's almost time for us to tiptoe through the tulips. Did you plant any in your landscaping? I sure hope so.
The majority of our bulbs were placed into crates last fall & kept in our flower cooler through the winter. We just started bringing them into the seedling room to wake them up to get this party called spring started.
Why crates you ask?
Because while there is still snow & everything is still in it's winter slumber, we have beautiful farm grown blooms early!
You can achieve this by planting bulbs into pots this coming fall & storing them in a cool unheated area with temperatures between 38 and mid 40's. We are currently anticipating a pot full of daffodils we planted last fall in our kitchen. Can't wait to see there cheerful yellow faces soon.
Are you a fan of tulips?
